Dan Herman and Jon Middleton

Dan Herman is a interdisciplinary artist working in painting, sculpture, sound, light, and video. A long time resident of South Minneapolis Dan's visual pieces consist of complex video animation, wooden figure carvings, abstract landscapes, and whimsical interpretations of discarded family photos found on the street. Dan’s extensive sound design work can be heard at repeatingenvelopes.bandcamp.com
Jon Middleton is a resident of the Skeleton Key and uses this space as a studio and workshop. Jon works in community event curation, Visual art, and Sound Art. Jon's visual pieces consist of distorted and displaced geometric abstract representations of people, landscapes, and architecture inspired by the intricate designs, ghostly energies, and colorful histories found in historical architecture such as the 100 plus year old building that The Skeleton Key exists in.
